Agera Energy is proud to announce that it has once again supported the Briarcliff Manor Education Foundation’s Spring Event being on April 27th, 2018. The foundation supports educational opportunities in the Briarcliff Manor Public Schools by benefiting students through financial support of programs, activities, and resources. Since its creation in 1995, the BMEF has raised $1,000,000 for programs which increased the educational experience for students, as well as teachers.
The Spring Gala at The Briarcliff Manor will include over 250 residents of the Briarcliff Manor School District, where the attendees will be raising funding to support educational resources, such as materials and training for the public schools. The event will also include food, music, dancing, gaming, raffles, and auction items.
The Briarcliff Manor School District is home to some of the nation’s top teachers and students, according to US News’ Best High Schools. They rank #28 in New York State and #188 in the Country, with a graduation rate of 99%. The BMEF’s commitment to enhancing student and teacher programs, activities, and resources has proven positive over the years.

Agera Energy sponsored Bob Cronin who was the top fundraiser for this year’s Tour de Force bike ride commemorating the tragedy of September 11, 2001. Bob, a 66 year old NY State Trooper veteran, riding for the 9th consecutive year has raised $32,603 as part of the Garda Bike Group’s total fundraising effort which raised a grand total of $79,574 that benefit the families of first responders, who were killed in the line of duty, each year, nationwide, making the ultimate sacrifice. This Labor Day Weekend, our Illinois Agera Energy team delivered donations collected to one of the first Hurricane Harvey relief trucks to depart the Chicagoland area for Houston. Thanks to everyone that donated – this will be the first of many Agera Energy deliveries aimed at aiding our customers and employees in the affected areas of Houston.
